Now that you're in a team, it's time to start investigating. You can't start generating solutions and answers until you've determined what the questions and problems are. Generate at least 5 answerable questions (that you don't already know the answer to), that will provide a jumping-off point to start getting to work in your teams.

10/5/12
From the Popular Mechanics articles, write a 3-2-1 response.
3 Ah-hah!'s - what piqued your interest, showed you something surprising, crazy or interesting
2 questions - what do you want to know more about
1 New Idea - how could they take these ideas further? "What if they..."

Based on what we talked about in class about the Design Thinking process:
  • Discovery
  • Interpretation
  • Ideation
  • Experimentation
  • Evolution
and what you saw in the IDEO video, write a bit about where you think the Shopping Cart designers got to in their process, and anything else that springs to mind... a key element at this point is leaving yourself the space to think creatively... any ideas that pop in might have relevance somewhere along the way! We're just getting started here, so don't negate floaty creative thoughts just because they don't have a place to land.
